Meet Kaitlyn, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario

Hi, I'm Kaitlyn,
Finding a therapist is about more than finding someone with the right credentials. It’s about finding someone you feel comfortable being honest with—someone who can meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and walk alongside you as you figure out where you want to go next.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) providing virtual psychotherapy to clients across Ontario. My approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate, with a focus on helping you understand yourself rather than trying to “fix” you.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, ADHD, people-pleasing, perfectionism, body image, disordered eating, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything you’re carrying, I want therapy to be a place where you can take a breath, let your guard down, and be fully yourself.
Why I Do This Work
I’m drawn to the people who have spent a long time trying to be “okay.”
The dependable ones. The people who care deeply about others. The ones who overthink, over-function, over-give, or hold themselves to impossible standards.
The ones who have learned to ask:
- Am I doing enough?
- Am I being too sensitive?
- What if I disappoint someone?
- Why can’t I just get it together?
Sometimes, the hardest part isn't knowing that you want something to change. It's believing that you’re allowed to change without becoming someone else.
I’m passionate about helping clients explore the patterns and stories that have shaped how they see themselves—especially when those patterns have led to shame, self-criticism, people-pleasing, anxiety, or feeling disconnected from their own needs.
I love helping clients move from “What’s wrong with me?”
toward “What have I been carrying, and what do I want to do with it now?”
Because your struggles aren't evidence that you're broken. Often, they’re evidence that you've been trying very hard to navigate something difficult with the tools you had at the time.
Therapy can be a place to understand those patterns with curiosity rather than shame—and decide what you want to carry forward.
How I work.
Therapy that meets you where you are.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you who you should be or what your life should look like. Instead, I'll be curious alongside you, helping you notice patterns, explore possibilities, reconnect with what matters, and develop tools that support the life you want to build.
My primary therapeutic approaches include:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Narrative Therapy
- Solution-Focused Therapy
- CBT, DBT, and mindfulness
- Somatic approaches
This means therapy might involve exploring the stories you've developed about yourself, learning to relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions, identifying your values, practicing boundaries, or developing practical strategies for managing anxiety, ADHD, and emotional overwhelm.
There isn't a single “right” way to do therapy. We'll work together to find what works for you.
